Jireh Griffin, from the small town of Davenport, Washington, was born and raised in the Evergreen State so many of us call home. She has had the blessed opportunity to live in two vastly different environments while pursuing her dreams as a rodeo ambassador. She has lived in town and on a farm, both situations taught her the values of hard work and no matter who you are, you can still pursue your dreams. She finds joy in reading, painting, riding her horse, hunting, fishing, and visiting schools and hospitals. Rodeo has impacted her life from a young age as she was involved in rodeos where she rode junior bulls, bronc, wild ponies, and occasionally did barrels. Her favorite charity is the Rascal Rodeo as it impacts people with special needs in the sport she loves and holds dear. She says," This is what rodeo is all about, impacting lives."
WHY I WANT TO BECOME MISS TEEN RODEO WASHINGTON
Rodeo ambassadors have drive and passion, having these qualities, I would be honored to have the opportunity to serve as your 2020 Miss Teen Rodeo Washington; not only to promote this great sport we all know and love, but also inspire people from all walks of life to be proud of who they are while pursuing their dreams. I will promote our great Western heritage and the values we stand for. Integrity and character are the foundation to our lifestyle that I believe we must preserve. While traveling, I plan to educate many people about the sport of rodeo, and make a positive impact one person at a time. Without the support of our fans, our four-legged athletes, and our communities, the spirit of our Western heritage would be lost. As your 2020 Miss Teen Rodeo Washington, I will continue to cultivate our Western lifestyle with grace, kindness, and pride.
