​​Ellensburg resident Ava LaValley will be serving as the 2022 Miss Teen Rodeo Washington, after being crowned during the Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant in October, 2021.

Ava is a senior at Ellensburg High School where she serves as a varsity cheerleader and is active in student body activities.  Ava hopes to compete on the collegiate level in rodeo while pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine.

Ava is a member of the Kids N Kritters 4H Club, a member of the Ellensburg FFA and is also an active participant in the Washington State High School Rodeo Association where she, along with her horse Harper, compete in barrels, poles and goat tying events.
As Miss Teen Rodeo Washington Ava is working to develop a program to present to local driving schools and civic organizations to share information about how to safely share our roads with horse trailers to ensure the safety of our rodeo athletes and their equine partners.

Ava loves to spend time with her family and her friends, along with her horses Whiskey and Harper and her dogs Levi and Maverick.  Ava also enjoys volunteering in her community and working to promote the sport of rodeo.
