Built on Tradition. Driven by Purpose.
The Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant, Inc. is proud to announce the 2027 Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant, taking place October 9–11, 2026, in Ellensburg, Washington.
This year’s Garden Party theme, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, brings a fresh visual element to a program deeply rooted in tradition. While the theme sets the stage, the mission remains unchanged—developing young women into knowledgeable, capable ambassadors for agriculture, rodeo, and the western way of life.
More Than a Title
The Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant is a leadership program first. Through preparation, competition, and a year of service, contestants gain real-world experience in communication, professionalism, and industry knowledge.
Our three divisions include:
Miss Rodeo Washington
Miss Teen Rodeo Washington
Miss Rodeo Washington Sweetheart
Each titleholder steps into a year of responsibility—representing Washington at PRCA rodeos, agricultural events, classrooms, and community functions across the state and beyond. It is a role that requires commitment, adaptability, and a genuine understanding of the industries they represent.
What Contestants Can Expect
Pageant weekend is designed to reflect the expectations of a modern rodeo ambassador. Contestants are evaluated across multiple areas, including:
Horsemanship
Public speaking and media interaction
Personal interviews
Appearance and professionalism
Rodeo and agricultural knowledge
These categories are not just for competition—they mirror the skills needed throughout the year as titleholders travel, speak, and engage with diverse audiences.
Hosted in Ellensburg
Ellensburg continues to serve as the home of the Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant—an area known for its strong ties to rodeo and agriculture. It provides a setting that reflects the values of the program while welcoming contestants, families, and supporters from across the region.
A Program with Purpose
As a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant, Inc. is committed to investing in the next generation of leaders. Our titleholders represent more than a title—they represent the people, industries, and communities that shape Washington State.
From rodeo arenas to agricultural classrooms, they serve as a connection between tradition and the future.
